My name is Anna Mut, and I'm a freshman at Case Western Reserve University with a passion for creative expression through photography. I'm pursuing a double major in Pre-Architecture and Art History with a minor in Photography while working as a photographer at the Maltz Performing Arts Center.
From an early age, I discovered a love for capturing moments and telling stories through the camera lens. Whether shooting digitally or with classic film equipment, I find endless inspiration in the interplay of light, color, and composition. My work aims to evoke emotion and provide a distinctive perspective.
As an Orange County native, I've honed my photographic eye amid the natural beauty of the California landscape. But I'm also endlessly fascinated by human-made environments and the historical contexts that shape our visual world. Studying architecture and art history will help deepen my appreciation for these influences.
In the years ahead, I can't wait to further develop my skills and unique artistic voice. Photography allows me to engage with my surroundings in a profoundly intentional way. I hope you'll follow along as I continue this creative journey at Case Western and the Maltz Center. Be on the lookout for my latest work showcasing candid slices of life, evocative portraits, and images that transport you to another time or place.
I encourage you to see more of my work in my portfolio.
